The new School Year is almost here. So come enjoy one last party before it starts! RSG, SCOR, and GRIN are throwing a block party for all Rackham students and their families. So come enjoy some food, music, games, and talk to representatives from your student organizations.

How to Effectively Navigate the Career Fair
this your first career fair at UofM? Are you having a tough time in
converting those elevator pitches into an interview call? Or, are you
having trouble with coming up with an impressive elevator pitch to begin
with? The annual fall engineering career fair is 10 days away and
whether you are looking for an internship or a full-time position, you
need to be prepared to make the most of this opportunity. Learn how to
effectively navigate the career fair with GRIN (Graduate Rackham
seminar will be given by career coach Dr. Clarence Anthony, Jr. from
the University Career Center.

Do you want to learn more about a career in industry after leaving academia? This panel will feature professionals in the tech and biotech industries, and will be a great opportunity to discuss how to make the transition from academia to industry.

Dear fellow GRINers, Hope you are having a relaxing and productive summer! We would like to feature your stories on our Facebook page. You can submit 1. A summary of your research or 2. Your own story as an international graduate student. Both stories can be up to 300 words. You can also add pictures if you would like!

GRIN wants to hear from you! Come to one of our bi-weekly
office hours to talk to GRIN board members about anything. Yes,
anything! Whether you are facing hardship academically (struggling with
class, conflict with PI, funding, etc.) or personally (finding it hard
to connect with other students, mental health, finding a roommate,
etc.), want to meet us and learn about what we do, give feedback on how
we're doing, or just make new friends, office hours are the place for
you to get one-on-one time with GRIN leadership. We will be hosting at both North and Central campuses with snacks, so come on out! We hope to see you there!
